Air-termination mast for protecting special facilities such as biogas plants, free field PV systems, Ex systems and ammunition dumps against direct lightning strikes.

The masts are erected in a bucket foundation (pre-fabricated) or an on-site concrete foundation with foundation basket (to be ordered separately).

This air-termination mast system ensures that entire systems / areas are located in the protected volume (lightning protection zone 0_B) without installing horizontal air-termination systems (spanning cables).

The separation distance s according to IEC/EN 62305-3 between the air-termination mast and the object to be protected must be observed.

The air-termination masts are dimensioned according to Eurocode 1 (DIN EN 1991-1-4 + DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA).

• Air-termination rod, St/tZn, Ø42 / 25 / 15 mm, length 2400 or 5400 mm, with M20 thread and lock nut
• Conic mast segments
• Flange plate with connection lug for earth connection hole Ø12 mm (for round conductor Ø10 mm, e.g. with KS connector (Part No. 301 019))
