The challenge
Viebrock's modern solid construction houses contain a large number of electrical and electronic components. These include, for example, heat pump control, a home control system based on radio or bus systems for smart home technologies or the photovoltaic system with battery storage for supplying one's own electricity.

The solution
To ensure that everything runs reliably, Viebrockhaus relies on a surge protection concept from DEHN, which is integrated into the bus system of all houses. The installed protective devices include, for example:
- The DEHNshield ZP Basic combined arrester for protecting the house connection (incoming power supply lines)
- DEHNgate FF5 TV for the cable and broadband connection
- DEHNbox or DEHNgate secure the telephone and DSL connection
- DEHNcube prevents damage to the PV system inverter
These measures mean a secure energy supply, optimum communication and trouble-free energy management in every Viebrockhaus.
