Safe working in the rail environment
Protecting what's important – that's what DEHN's range of safety equipment is all about. We develop safety devices and personal protective equipment for working in accordance with the five safety rules in the vicinity of electrified track systems and associated railway buildings. Whether it's voltage detectors, telescopic earthing sticks for railway earthing or earthing and short-circuiting devices: all DEHN products have been tried and tested by different regional railways in many countries around the world.
Protecting people working in the track area
Whether it is maintenance or fault rectification, electrical overhead contact lines with their 15,000 volts must not pose a threat to workers or deployed personnel working in the track area. The overhead contact lines must therefore be isolated from the power supply according to the five safety rules. Merely switching off the current in the control room will not suffice. Only additional earthing measures will guarantee that overhead contact lines are in a dead condition.
DEHN offers optimum devices for additional earthing measures that are space-saving and practical to use.
